The folks of Lafourche Parish love to celebrate life during Mardi Gras, and "Throw Me Something, Mister" is a phrase you will hear as the people get caught up in the Mardi Gras spirit on the Bayou. Enjoy 17 family-friendly parades throughout the Mardi Gras season that exhibit a New Orleans flair, beautiful floats, stunning kings and queens, and float riders dressed in extravagant costumes. You will catch more beads and Mardi Gras trinkets than you can carry!

Krewe of Des Petite Lions
Krewe of Shaka
Parade begins at 1:30 pm in Thibodaux.
Krewe of Ambrosia
Krewe rolls at 2:00 pm and follows the Krewe of Shaka.
Krewe of Cleophas
This parade features 350 riders and 26 floats and rolls through downtown Thibodaux. Parade begins at 12:30 pm in Thibodaux.
Krewe of Chronos
This parade is Thuibodaux's oldest parade organization and features 200 riders. Parade follows the Krewe of Cleophas at 1:30 pm.
Krewe of Gheens
This laid back parade features homemade floats with over 100 members. Parade begins at 11:00 am in Gheens.
Krewe of Ghana
Features 16 decorated floats and marching bands. This parade rolls at 1:00 pm in Thibodaux.
Krewe of Chopic
This krewe bgan as a way for the local community to gather and features 10 floats. Parade rolls in Chackbay at 1:00 pm.
