Bird Watching Boat Tour

Calling all bird watchers! Join a professional ornithologist on a bird watching boat tour on Bayou Lafourche. Explore the great variety of birds and wildlife that Louisiana's Cajun Bayou has to offer, and have your camera in hand as you glide along the water.

Space is limited. Please call 985-448-1375 to reserve your place.

This event is hosted by Jean Lafitte Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center in tandem with the Smithsonian's Traveling Water/Ways Exhibit open to the public Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from June 3 - June 30.

Event directors are monitoring the latest information, guidelines, and safety precautions regarding COVID-19 to insure that they meet proper restrictions and safety protocols.

Music on the Bayou is a free event happening every Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Jean Lafitte Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center.
