The Live Music Jam happens every Monday 5:30-6:30 pm at the Jean Lafitte Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center. Guests are immersed in the experience of the bayou through the wide range of south Louisiana's music: zydeco, gospel, blues, jazz, Cajun, and more.
Enjoy over 20 local specialty dishes along with dancing and music. Folklife demonstrations that showcase the Cajun lifestyle can be seen.
The event is a culinary showcase of Cajun cuisine cooked by local chefs. In a two-block area of downtown Thibodaux, you will find dozens of cooks competing in the competion and can sample their dishes.
