St. Patrick's Day on the Bayou

Get in the spirit of "Erin Go Bragh" with St. Patrick’s Day on the Bayou in Thibodaux! Enjoy live music, great food, and fun-filled activities for kids. Don't forget about cardboard boat races in the bayou! 

BTNEP’s Paddle Bayou Lafourche: Launch from either Napoleonville or Labadieville and paddle Bayou Lafourche all the way down to Thibodaux. The paddle trip will arrive in downtown Thibodaux for the St. Patrick’s Day on the Bayou festival. Entry in the Paddle Bayou Lafourche includes transportation to the launch sites, event t-shirt, snacks, and full access to St. Patrick’s Day on the Bayou. Canoes are available to rent. Paddlers can enter the 13.7-mile paddle which begins in Napoleonville or the shorter 8.7-mile paddle from Labadieville. Entry in the Paddle Bayou Lafourche is $35 per person and canoes are available to rent for $50 per canoe.

Paddle Bayou Lafourche Launch Times:
Napoleonville – 8AM or 9AM
Labadieville – 10AM, 11AM, or Noon

2PM – Gates Open to Public
2PM to 4PM – Live Music by Russ Cheramie
2PM to 5:30PM – Kids Activities
4PM – Cardboard & Duct Tape Boat Races Begin
4:30PM – Food Serving Begins (FREE with $10 entry)
5:30PM to 9:30PM – Live Music by Shorts In December
