Come out to Thibodaux's Christmas parade Sunday, December 5th at 3:00 PM! The parade begins at John L. Guidry Stadium on the Nicholls campus and all businesses, groups and individuals are welcome to walk in the parade at no charge.
The Application Deadline to enter the parade is: Thursday, December 2nd. Contact Sarah Rodrigue with the Thibodaux Chamber for more info at 985-446-1187.
PARADE ROUTE: From Afton Dr., turn right onto Audubon Ave. Turn left onto Menard St. Continue down Menard St. all the way to Canal Blvd. Turn right onto Canal Blvd., then left onto 3rd St. The parade will end at 3rd St. and Jackson. Floats will continue onto Hwy 1 and disband on side of the road by Jean Lafitte.
The Golden Meadow Rotary is holding its annual shrimp boil on Saturday, December 11th at GM Oakridge Park. This years shrimp boil will include a craft show, free shrimp, a Christmas parade, and a showing of the movie The Polar Express!
Louisiana small-town traditions come to life on Bayou Lafourche in the historic town of Lockport for their annual Christmas Parade. Line the streets and take in a variety of lighted floats and live music. And of course, no Louisiana Christmas parade is complete without a guest appearance from Papa Noel himself! Following the parade, visit the Lockport Community Center for a movie night with Papa Noel and friends. Get your picture with Papa Noel and enjoy delicious food, a hot chocolate bar, and a holiday movie.
